Not only is Kerry a truly delightful human, she exceeded our expectations of our South African adventure. 

 We originally reached out to Kerry through an incredible recommendation from a friend. We had just gotten married during the pandemic and were looking to solidify our South African honeymoon. After chatting with her then, life got in the way and the pandemic was still looming so we had to postpone. Fast-forward a few years and we decided it was finally time to make this great adventure happen! I immediately emailed Kerry and with no hesitation, she hopped on a call and began the process all over again like no time had passed.

Wanting to experience as much of South Africa as possible in a 10 day trip, we really challenged Kerry to keep our schedules packed without feeling exhausted. BOY OH BOY did she over-deliver!!!

From the incredible drivers she had scheduled, our incredible Cape Town tour guide (Rehad) who gave us a very tailored day of history, shopping, excursions and cuisine, he happily made edits to our day along the way when we saw something we wanted to stop and see. 

 Our Cape Town accommodations were perfect for us. Compass House was just right for us, all thanks to Kerry for truly understanding more about who we are as travellers and what we wanted out of our experience in Cape Town.

Next we visited the stunningly beautiful winelands. On our way, Kerry suggested we make a stop at a breathtaking winery for lunch and she couldn’t have made a better suggestion - just wow! We continued on in our private transfer to Franschhoek where we stayed at the super hip and cool Monument House. Its proximity to the village was great and Wendy, the owner, was equally as wonderful as her curated property. 

We experienced all that Kerry had carefully curated for us here. Think incredible cuisine experiences, lots of delicious wines via the wine tram and still, time to relax. 

Finally, onto our last adventure of this trip … safari! We really gave Kerry the reins when it came to our plans. We suggested certain experiences we wanted but she planned everything top to bottom when it came to specifics and more! She picked out the most PERFECT safari experience for us. The newly renovated, private camp, Tanda Tula. A small, highly curated experience  where everyone there truly felt like family by the time we had to leave. The food, the service, the staff, the amenities and game viewing were all top notch and unforgettable!

We loved Kerry so much we had plans to meet for a drink to top off our trip at an incredibly posh spot back in Cape Town while we waited for our plane back home. 

I really can’t thank Kerry enough for all of her thoughtful planning and providing us with a trip of a lifetime. We're already in talks of her planning another adventure for us! She did such an amazing job we left each location thinking, “Wow! Should we move here?"

Our 3 Safari locations in Kruger as well as in Victoria Falls – they were amazing & it is all thanks to you, I can say you are a perfectionist, & everything was done to PERFECTION. 

We enjoyed every step of the journey & frankly we l loved everything… true highlights  Simbavati River Lodge was the BEST, the animal safari’s were excellent, our tour guide Andre was excellent, & in our lodge the elephants, the wild boars , were roaming around close to our bedroom, it was very good. Singita Lebombo had a class of its own 😍, the rooms, the location, the view , (hippos & crocodiles & baboons could be seen with the binoculars), the food was excellent & good game viewing.

We used Kerry as our travel agent to plan our family trip to South Africa. Our original intent was to go for a wedding which was amazing, however because of Kerry’s knowledge and experience of the area our wedding trip turned out to be the family vacation of a lifetime!  Wow!  

Kerry put together a trip that was better than our wildest dreams. She picked all the hotels which were gorgeous and intimate with supremely superior customer service. She also made reservations at numerous restaurants which was so nice and relaxing. When she suggested a hike up Table Mt on our 2nd day we thought she was crazy…but boy was she right. With a guide we had quite the adventure cheering each other on as we hiked the mountain. 

She also knew the wedding itinerary in Stellenbosch so she planned for transportation to and from all of the four day events…which made everything so much more fun! Our hotel in Franschhoek was fabulous and located right in the center of this yummy little upscale town with excellent restaurants and shopping.

Finally our amazing trip was capped off with a 4 day safari at Lions Sands Lodge. I can’t say enough about Lions Sands. It was simply superb in every way…from the friendly hands on guide (Anthony!) and tracker (Andrees)..to the wonderful food, pool by the river, and wildlife that roamed around. By he end of the 4 days we felt as if we made best friends with everyone who worked there! The main event of course were the twice a day game rides which presented a once in a lifetime experience for our family to see the Big 5 as well as so many other wonderful animals.

It truly was the family vacation of a lifetime and one that the four of us will never forget!

We were introduced to Clare by an American friend whose wedding we were attending last December. We had never been to South Africa. Clare literally took care of everything. She offered choices and was very responsive where we had a preference and decided for us where we didn't. The boutique hotels we stayed in in Capetown and in the Wine Region were perfect- great rooms, lovely staff, beautiful locations. Clare also arranged all our drivers and restaurant reservations. We are safe and sound back at home in London after a truly wonderful trip.  We feel so fortunate to be able to go there, particularly in the depths of winter in the Northern hemisphere.  We are becoming quite seasoned travellers in Southern Africa now and have had so many incredible experiences.

Bushman’s Kloof was gorgeous and the room was perfect.  It was a classic, tame venue and a lovely place to start a holiday.  We were really happy there and were able to wind down and relax. Tengile River Lodge is absolutely stunning in every way. The designer thought of every detail and the architecture is exquisite.  It is very much designed around the idea of blending the indoors and the outdoors and we could not have been more in love with the entire place. We saw all the game and never tired of the beauty of those wide-open spaces.  Some of the animal interactions were really amazing and we are always surprised that we experience something different that we haven’t seen before.  Tengile is absolutely breath-taking. All in all, an incredible and wonderful experience as always and your help in suggesting and planning the trip were terrific. Thank you again.

We cannot thank Here’s My Card more for organising another great weekend escape for us in Franschhoek.  La Providence is a beautiful guest house located at the foot of the Franschhoek Mountains with incredible views of the valley and vineyards.  The team there were amazing and Kerry organised a beautiful room for us so we could truly relax after a crazy January back home in London.  The highlight is the beautiful pool which was an ideal place for us to spend the mornings before heading out to enjoy the incredible wine farms and restaurants that Franschhoek have to offer.  Kerry was amazing helping us plan our weekend, including beauty treatments and restaurant suggestions that took all the hard work out of our hands.  We can’t wait to go back!
