From the scenery, to the accommodation, to the safari, the whole trip was just breathtaking. We would like to thank Kerry for organising everything. It started with a stop in Cape Town, then on to Franschhoek to explore the beautiful wine region which some amazing dinner bookings made for us. Then back to Cape Town 4 days in the beautiful Camps Bay for a fun-filled exploration of the cape including Simons town, Robben Island and Table Mountain - again with amazing restaurants. And then finally onto Kruger for a safari we will never forget, seeing animals and nature at it very best. It was an absolute pleasure to have Kerry organising this for us and dream of a holiday! As we arrived at the lodge the staff gave us such a warm welcome. And that’s only the tip of the iceberg. We have never experienced this kind of hospitality. We really felt like two royals. The help from Erika the manager, the humble care of Sipho and the marvellous food of Kate. Everything was so well organised. The place, setting of our breakfast, lunch and dinner. Not a single day was the same. And last but not least the game drives with the guide Julius, who had A lot of knowledge and was so passionate. 

Amani Lodge was so peaceful and serene. It sometimes even felt if we were the only people there.  We had amazing time. Thanks to Kerry and booking this gem in the Kruger Park.

I can’t compliment you enough for all the work that you undertook in putting together the itinerary for Gaynor and I. Even at an early stage in the planning, it was clear to me that you understood what we were looking for, as a first time experience of a trip to South Africa.

You put together an amazing itinerary, encompassing what we wanted to see and experience, in the time frame that we had available. The trip flowed seamlessly from the Cape Winelands of Franschhoek to the stunning Grootbos Nature Reserve. Then on to the Cape Town experience and to finish with the Safari experience at Tinga Lodge by the Sabie River in Kruger.

Your choice of accommodation in all 4 locations  was fantastic, even down to the specific lodges at Grootbos and Tinga. The travel plan was perfect with the flight times, the pick ups , the car hire and the private guided tour to Cape Point.

When it comes to restaurant recommendations, I am sure it can’t be easy to meet client expectations all the time. However you certainly achieved it for Gaynor and I, all the restaurants recommended were fantastic, and again Clare that was a testament to you and a reflection on your great skill of listening to the client and tailoring the itinerary accordingly .

The Itinerary Pack you provided was well put together and very helpful in detailing all the daily activities and logistics. We appreciate the time and effort that must have gone into the finalising detail of the trip, and we can’t thank you enough for the wonderful experience that we had during our time in your country.

We cannot thank you enough for everything you did to make our honeymoon so perfect, truly special, and totally unforgettable. There aren’t enough superlatives to describe how wonderful it all was…….You suggested the perfect order for each element of our trip; Our hotels were so beautiful and created the most amazing environments for us to stay in while we enjoyed the best of what each area offered us; All of the staff in each were utterly delightful, so friendly and relaxed, nothing was too much trouble, everything delivered to perfection, and some really thoughtful honeymoon touches all contributed to making it all feel very special for us.

The restaurants you selected for us were all amazing, we would go back to each and every one in a heartbeat - the food and wines in each were delicious, they all catered brilliantly with Martin’s dietaries(!), and the environments of each were so beautiful, and most so off the scale beautiful that it’s impossible to single any out; The experiences: the wine tram and Babylonstoren, coastal trip with Rehad, and the wildlife drives in Thornybush were all amazing (more of the latter later); We were unbelievably lucky with the weather, enabling us to see each area at its absolute best; La Res and Waterside looked after us brilliantly to watch the Rugby; and all of the transfers worked really well, making the transition between each element of our honeymoon seamless. So all in all, everything we had hoped for and more - we feel very blessed. 

Everything was so perfect, we hesitate to single anything out - but witnessing the wildlife was so exceptional it merits a special mention.  Laurenco and Chris (our ranger and tracker) showed us the most incredible array of animals (we literally saw everything) and enabled us to see them going about their business at unbelievably close proximity - the most beautiful, humbling and magical experience.

We had thought that this would probably be our only trip to South Africa, but we will definitely be back.  Thank you so very much, you have been a joy to work with and honestly delivered the honeymoon of our dreams.

I wanted to do something special with my brother when he visited in February. I have wanted to go to Zimbabwe for years - so this provided the perfect excuse. In true HMC style I received a slick itinerary that was great value for money and awesome in experience. Ursula’s Homestead at Victoria Falls is a gorgeous home from home - luxurious simplicity. A warm team that catered to our every need and altered their menu to suit our preferences. As a surprise from our parents Kerry and Clare organised a sunset cruise on the Zambezi where we saw incredible wildlife, landscape and shared many G+Ts with great people. The team at Ursula’s organised guides to take us on a private walking tour of Victoria Falls where we saw (and got soaked by) nature at its finest. I highly recommend the high adrenaline option of swimming in Angels or Devils Pool that hangs over the Falls followed by a boat ride and breakfast at Livingstone Island. It was a true lifetime experience only made possible by Here’s My Card - my go to girls for all Southern African experiences. Until the next trip - Thank you again xxx
